          A story of Achilles' heel

It is Greek mythological story about Achilles, son of mother - Thetis who was immortal and father Peleus -mortal. When Achilles was born child, his mother found that he would die at young age. Thetis -  His mother took him to a river known as Styx. This river had great powers. It offered boon of never getting death - Immortality once a person gets touched by that water. Thetis holds his child from the heel and dips him into that holy water and he gets immortal everywhere but Thetis held him from his heels so heel never touched  water and that part of the body- heel remained mortal -which can become the cause of his  death. Achilles grew up and became a  man of war, winning many battles and become a courageous man, unlike his father.Later once in a Trojan war, a poisonous arrow hit him on his heel which was not touched by that holy water and thus he died. Thus that heal was his weakness even being such a strong person.

We too being very strong have some weakness which makes us lose battles of our life. Thus they are our own Achilles   heel.

Try to find out your achilles heel and overcome it before it destroys you.
