He was the one who enlightened us about the origin of Universe which is popularly known as "Big Bang Theory". He named this big bang theory as "Cosmic Egg". Georges Henri Joseph Edouard Lemaître, popularly known as Georges Lemaître was a Belgium Priest, astronomer and a professor of physics.
He was pursuing civil engineering at the age of  17 after completing his classical education. But In 1914 he had to interrupt his studies to serve his army for the duration of world war I. After the war he studied Mathematics and Physics and by 1923 he was graduated as an astronomer from University Of Cambridge and also was ordained as a priest. He also went to Harvard University and MIT for doctoral program and observatory works.

He was Into Cosmology and He was the first one to give the Theoretical aspect of Hubble's Law (Universe is expanding ) but as it was theoretical, it got recognition only after it was observationally confirmed by Edwin Hubble. Now it is known as Hubble Constant.

His Big Bang Theory Based On Origin Of Universe Initially was not supported by fellow scientists. Einstien also was unsure of his theory as there was no physical point of view. But he supported him and encouraged him. Now his theory is accepted worldwide for the origin of the universe.
