Trick to find out square of number ending with 5

To find out square of any number having units digit 5 there is a simple  trick which takes very few seconds to calculate it.

Trick:

CALCULATE SQUARE OF 25

^{1) last digits of square are 25 that is square of last digit} 5=> (5*5)=>25

2)now first digit 2 is multiplied with one number greater than 2 i.e. 3=>(2+1) =>2*3=>6

final answer is 625

CALCULATE SQUARE OF 85 

   8 * (8+1)           5*5  

     8*9                  25 

    72                     25

Ans is 7225

---

CALCULATE SQUARE OF 135

13 *(13+1)          5*5

   13*14                25

     182               25

Ans is 18225

similarly find out  square of any number ending with 5
