All of us can easily recall the tables from 1 to 10. But, even after learning all the tables from 12 to 20, we tend to make a mistake in calculation. so here is the trick to remember tables easily.
Table of 12 is obtained from the table of 2
2*1=2,
2*2=4,
2*3=6,
2*4=8,
2*5=10,
2*6=12,
2*7=14,
2*8=16,
2*9=18,
2*10=20.
Thus the table of 12 can be obtained from the table of 2.
Example: -12*1=12, here 2 at units place is obtained by 2*1=02 and tens place is obtained by adding 1 which is the multiplier to 0 obtained from 02 thus it gives 12
Similarly ,
for (2*2=04) --->12*2=(0+2)at tens place and 4 at units place=>24
for (2*3=06) --->12*3=(0+3) at tens place and 6 at units place=>36
for (2*4=08) --->12*4=(0+4)at tens place and 8 at units place=>48
for (2*5=10) --->12*5=(1+5) at tens place and 0 at units place=>60
for (2*6=12) --->12*6=(1+6)at tens place and 2 at units place=>72
for (2*7=14) --->12*7=(1+7) at tens place and 4 at units place=>84
for (2*8=16) --->12*8=(1+8)at tens place and 6 at units place=>96
for (2*9=18) --->12*9=(1+9) at tens place and 8 at units place=>108
for (2*10=20) --->12*10=(2+10)at tens place and 0 at units
place=>120
(The color used on L.H.S are same used on R.H.S to indicate the use of that digit )
for (2*2=04) --->12*2=(0+2)at tens place and 4 at units place=>24
for (2*3=06) --->12*3=(0+3) at tens place and 6 at units place=>36
for (2*4=08) --->12*4=(0+4)at tens place and 8 at units place=>48
for (2*5=10) --->12*5=(1+5) at tens place and 0 at units place=>60
for (2*6=12) --->12*6=(1+6)at tens place and 2 at units place=>72
for (2*7=14) --->12*7=(1+7) at tens place and 4 at units place=>84
for (2*8=16) --->12*8=(1+8)at tens place and 6 at units place=>96
for (2*9=18) --->12*9=(1+9) at tens place and 8 at units place=>108
for (2*10=20) --->12*10=(2+10)at tens place and 0 at units
place=>120
(The color used on L.H.S are same used on R.H.S to indicate the use of that digit )
I hope it is useful.
